Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we get asked most often.

Where can I find you?

My studio, gallery and dress shop is located at 18 James Street in downtown Parry Sound. In July and August I can also be found at the Gravenhurst Farmers Market on Wednesdays and the Rosseau Farmers Market on Fridays.

When are you open?

Our hours change with the seasons. Right now we’re open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm. On Sundays an Mondays we’re open by chance, or appointment. When in doubt, give a knock on the door!

Do you sell your clothes online?

Not in the traditional online store way. I purchase all of my fabrics in smaller quantities to keep my designs fresh and original. That said, I regularly sell and ship items to my existing customers; as long as I have your details on hand I’m happy to send you pictures of what I have or custom make something for you. Contact me if you’re interested.

Are all of the items I see on this site for sale?

In the case of the paintings, the works are usually available for sale. The clothing is presented in a look-book format to show the styles and fabrics that I am currently working with, but things sell quickly. I plan to start highlighting my currently-available designs on Instagram, so please follow me there to see all my latest work.

Do you wholesale your work?

Generally I do not. I do, however, have my work for sale at a number of markets and galleries.

What forms of payment do you accept?

At the shop I take Visa, Mastercard, debit, cash and cheque. At the markets I accept payments by Square and cash. I can also accept payment by eTransfer if agreed upon in advance.

Can you deliver or ship my item?

As a general rule we do not deliver items, but we do make exceptions for items like larger paintings. We can ship items across Canada via Canada Post or the Greyhound bus network at reasonable prices.

Do you do custom work?

I sure do! With your measurement on hand I will gladly make you custom dresses, skirts and tops. I also paint custom cottage and family name signs on a regular basis, and will happily discuss commissions for my paintings. When in doubt, just ask!

Do you teach painting classes for adults or kids?

Right now I do not, but there has been lots of interest so it’s something that I am considering for the future. If I do start offering lessons those who follow me on Facebook will be the first to know!

I still have questions! How can I reach you?

Feel free to send me an email or call me at 705-996-1414. If you leave me a message I’ll get back to you as soon as I can!
